We’ll start in Ouarzazate and travel to Agdz, a small village about 70 kilometers away. The road to Agdz takes you through stunning countryside, including the famous Draa Valley, which is known for its palm trees and old kasbahs. You’ll stop for lunch in Agdz. After lunch, we’ll continue on to Zagora, a town about 60 kilometers from Agdz. The drive to Zagora is very gorgeous, with many of photo opportunities. The renowned “Tombouctou 52 days” sign in Zagora alludes to the time it would take a camel to trek from Zagora to Timbuktu. You’ll spend the night in Zagora.
We leave Zagora after breakfast for Tafraout Sidi Ali via Oumjra. We shall discover the splendor of the palm grove beside the Draa River on this adventure. On this day, we will also pass over a magnificent stage on the same road as the Rally Paris-Dakar. In the desert, we will go across the Draa Valley and the Oumjran plateaus. Visit the hamadas and ergs of the Black Desert, as well as several Berber settlements. We arrive in the afternoon at Erg Chebbi’s dunes, where we will be able to view the magnificent sunset from the big dune before descending to our desert accommodation
On the third day of our 5-day Ouarzazate motorcycle tour, we’ll visit the Erg Chebbi dunes, drive across Morocco’s vast dunes, and take in the spectacular Sahara landscape. Gnawa music can be heard at Khamlia village. Then we’ll cross the dunes to Begaa, Morocco’s last hamlet before crossing into Algeria. We stop for a picnic lunch under the woods at Tisrdmine and Safsaf. Following that, we’ll return to Merzouga and spend the night in a hotel with dinner.
After experiencing an early sunrise over the sand dunes, you’ll get back on your motorcycle and ride towards Tinghir, passing through the breathtaking Todra Gorge along the way. This is a difficult off-road section that requires skill and concentration, but the views are well worth it. Tinghir is a great place to spend the night
The final day of your 5 days moto ktm desert tour from Ouarzazate will take you back to Ouarzazate, going through numerous little villages and savoring the countryside. When you arrive at Ouarzazate, you will be able to relax and reflect on your experience.
