3 Days Moto KTM Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga Desert

The day before your 3-day moto tour from Errachidia, we will meet you at Moulay Ali Cherif Airport and transfer you to your hotel so you can relax and spend the night. The next morning, you’ll see your dream motorbike for the first time. Once you’re equipped and ready, we’ll start our adventure.

Our first stop will be the village of Tarda, where you’ll catch your first glimpse of palm groves. We’ll follow the river through this scenic landscape until we reach “Step up Sky Stairs” (Borge Almagne), a unique artwork in the desert. After that, we’ll visit El Khotarat to explore the fascinating underground water channels—if you’re interested.

We’ll then continue our ride to Gara Medouar, a striking horseshoe-shaped mountain and a popular film location in southern Morocco. Finally, we’ll cross Oued Ghriss and head toward Merzouga, where our desert adventure continues.

On the second day of our 3-day Errachidia Motorcycle Tour, we will spend the day exploring the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. You’ll ride across Morocco’s vast sea of golden sand, experiencing the breathtaking beauty of the Sahara desert firsthand.

Our first stop will be the village of Khamlia, where you’ll enjoy a traditional performance of Gnawa music—a unique spiritual and rhythmic style deeply rooted in Moroccan culture. After the performance, we’ll have lunch in the village before continuing our adventure.

We’ll then cross the dunes and make our way to Begaa, the last Moroccan settlement before the Algerian border. From there, the journey continues toward the enchanting village of Taous. Riding through these wide, open desert landscapes, you’ll be captivated by the vastness and beauty of the surroundings.

Along the way, we’ll stop to visit ancient rock engravings—mysterious carvings that offer a fascinating glimpse into the prehistoric history of the region.

As the day winds down, we’ll leave Taous and ride to the peaceful village of Jdaid. There, you’ll settle into a comfortable hotel for the night and enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars.

After breakfast, we will begin the final day of our 3-day moto tour from Errachidia. Our route takes us through the high desert plateau, where we’ll visit Tijkht to observe how the barite mines operate—an interesting insight into local industry and geology.

We’ll then continue our ride to the lost city of Oubahlou, a hidden gem steeped in mystery. From there, we’ll cross the Oued Ghris and make our way to Tafrout Sidi Ali, a beautiful and remote desert village.

After exploring Tafrout, we’ll ride through the rugged landscapes of Ramlia and stop in Ouzina for a relaxing lunch break.

Following lunch, we’ll head toward Merzouga, where we will switch from motorbikes to a comfortable vehicle for your transfer back to your hotel in Errachidia.
