We start our motorcycle tour from Merzouga at 9:00 AM. After you are picked up from your hotel or riad, our friendly team will help you gear up. You’ll receive a helmet, gloves, and protective clothing. A short safety briefing will be given before we hit the road.
Our first stop is Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music. Here you can enjoy traditional tunes and meet the locals. Then, we ride through Begaa and into the desert where the sand begins to stretch endlessly. You will visit a nomadic family living in tents, drink a cup of sweet Moroccan tea, and see how they live in harmony with the harsh desert conditions.
Next, we continue to Saf-Saf, where we stop under acacia trees for a picnic lunch in the cool shade. This peaceful break is the perfect chance to relax and take in the beauty of the desert.
In the afternoon, we ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, one of the most magical landscapes in Morocco. The up-and-down ride across the golden dunes is pure thrill and excitement. We will stop at a high point to watch the sunset over the dunes — a view you will never forget. We then return to Merzouga where you will spend the night in a comfortable accommodation with a hearty dinner and Berber music around the campfire.
After breakfast, we begin our second day of the 2 days KTM motorcycle tour from Merzouga. The day starts with a ride to Taous, a small village known for its beautiful rock engravings. This site is like an open-air museum where ancient art tells stories from thousands of years ago.
Then, we pass through Jdaid village and ride to Ouzina, another hidden gem in the desert. This part of the route follows the Paris-Dakar rally trail, offering challenging tracks and amazing desert scenery.
After a short rest, we continue to Ramlia, where you can enjoy a picnic and soak in the peaceful desert atmosphere. No cars, no noise — only silence, wind, and the sound of your own heartbeat.
Later, we head toward Oubahlou, also called the Lost City or the Portuguese City. These old ruins offer a mysterious view of history. We will take a short walk to explore the site and imagine what life was like here long ago.
Finally, we ride back to Merzouga, where your desert adventure ends, but the memories will last a lifetime.
